How do you approach a junkyard about selling a car?

Do you drive or tow the vehicle to the yard?
Agree transport with the buyer before moving the car. Describe a non-running vehicle and any difficulty with wheels or steering. Do not assume that a yard will collect every vehicle free or that an unsafe car can be driven simply to complete a sale.

A general recycling statement does not establish that every component from your car will be reused or that every material will be recovered.
