Which vehicle types can you submit for an offer?
You can submit cars, SUVs, pickup trucks and vans for assessment. Include the year, make, model and condition so the enquiry describes your actual vehicle. An enquiry starts a purchase discussion; it does not guarantee acceptance or a particular price.
Examples include a sedan with an engine fault, an SUV with collision damage, a pickup that no longer starts and a van you no longer use. Our stated service scope is cars, SUVs, pickup trucks and vans. Motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles and recreational vehicles fall outside that listed scope. Can you sell a non-running vehicle?
You can enquire about a vehicle that does not start or drive. Explain what happens when you try to start it, or describe the known fault. You do not have to diagnose the problem yourself to provide a useful description.
State whether the vehicle can roll and steer. A non-running engine and locked wheels create different collection requirements. Missing keys, flat tires and inaccessible parking also matter when a pickup is planned.
Can you sell an accident-damaged or incomplete car?
You can request an assessment for a damaged or incomplete car by describing what remains. List missing major components and identify visible damage. For a vehicle involved in an insurance claim, establish who controls the vehicle and can authorise its sale before arranging collection.

Do hybrid and electric vehicles need extra details?
Identify the vehicle as a hybrid or electric model and disclose known battery damage, warning messages or fire and flood exposure. These details are relevant to assessment and collection. Do not attempt to remove or open the high-voltage battery to prepare the car for sale.
Ask about the individual vehicle rather than assuming that every battery or component has a resale value. A component requires identification and assessment before its condition or usefulness can be established.
What information is needed before collection?
Provide the vehicle’s location, an accurate condition description and the documents you have. Explain any ownership uncertainty, finance issue or restriction on release. A missing document does not remove the requirement to establish that you can authorise the sale.
